At ReferenceUSA, we are investing millions of dollars to bring our customers the freshest, most accurate databases ever available. We employ 600 full-time people committed to compile, verify and maintain all of our data at our headquarters in Omaha, NE.

350 of these employees manually type data from the following sources:

• More than 5,200 Yellow Page, Business White Page, and White Page telephone directories
• Annual Reports, 10-Ks and other SEC information
• Continuing Medical Education (CME) directories
• Federal, state and municipal government data
• Chamber of Commerce information
• Leading business magazines, trade publications, newsletters, major newspapers, industry and specialty directories
• Postal service information, including National Change of Address updates

After these businesses have been compiled, we have 250 employees that make telephone interviews to verify the information on each business and health care provider in our databases.

• 20 million phone calls are made each year
• Businesses with 100+employees are phone-verified at least twice a year
• On an average month, we see over one million changes to our US Business database
• Over a year’s time, 80% of our database changes

US Business
This database of over 14 million businesses allows you to search with 27 unique data elements to help you find exactly what you are looking for fast. A detailed business listing contains everything on a business – from a list of executives, financial information to public filings and news articles. You can also create reports based on the businesses you are researching.

US Residential
This database includes 120 million households and 65 million homeowners. We gather information from over 5,200 phone directories across the U.S. Each listing appears exactly as it appears in the phone book. Two unique demographics – median households income and median home value – allow you to search and display those data elements for each listing.

CorpTech
CorpTech offers inclusive coverage on 95,000 private technology companies and 285,000 executives. We have a unique coding system which allows users to search for precise technology terminology and buzzwords, saving time when researching a company. Our in-depth profiles are compiled by professional researchers and provide an unmatched level of knowledge.

Physicians, Surgeons and Dentists
Our healthcare database of over 834,000 physicians, surgeons and dentists has the most complete and accurate information in the industry. We have unique data elements such as: age, gender, primary specialty, state of license, medical school attended and year graduated. We also have the average number of patients and prescriptions per week.

Canadian Business
We have 1.4 million Canadian businesses compiled from various sources including 400 telephone directories, white pages and corporate annual reports. Similar to our U.S. database, all Canadian businesses are telephone-verified annually.

Canadian Residential
We have 12 million Canadian households listed in our database. Each listing appears exactly as it appears in the phone book.

International Database – OneSource
This unique database contains three million global companies and five million executives. We combine “facts and figures” with news articles, prelinked across nearly three million global companies. This unique mix of “facts, figures and news” brings you accurate, fast, research results!
